The Vivai del Porto, on Lake Chiusi, are the largest nurseries, extending over 160 hectares of growing area. Here stands one of the first new generation greenhouses, which hosts a simply astounding, vast collection of Mediterranean plants.

The start of the story, on the highest hill of Chiusi. It is in this first nursery that the essences are reproduced that will then make up and enrich our botanical collection.

Between an ancient tuff quarry and Lake Chiusi, a natural shelter from the cold winds. The climate is mild and fosters the growing of large plants that are more sensitive to the cold.

Enclosed at the foot of the valley and surrounded by woodlands.

Here the land is cool and shaded, ideal for conifers and the autochthonous plants of Tuscany.
